What Our Team Has Been Loving This Winter

The seasons are changing, the weather is cooling, and the holidays are in full swing—winter is here! Our team at HSH Collective Home and Design is fully embracing the holiday season through our scents, styles, and tastes. Here are our winter must-haves for 2024:

Jessica – Founder and Principal Designer

Scent: HSH Collective Holiday Candle

Jess’ go-to scent for the season is our holiday candle! You can’t beat the smell of fresh pine, clementine, amber, and clove, to create the perfect cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's a holiday essential! (Grab yours before they’re gone!)

Taste: Cranberry Bliss Bars and Champagne

A guilty pleasure of hers is the Cranberry Bliss Bars from Starbucks, but nothing beats homemade. That’s why she has a recipe on hand to whip up this sweet treat right in her own kitchen.

And if you know Jessica, you know her love for a good bubbly never takes a holiday break. Prosecco is her go-to for festive family gatherings and dinner parties!

Style: Antique and Homemade Touches

Jessica loves to decorate her home with beautiful antique ornaments and decorations she’s collected over the years. One of her absolute favorite pieces is a charming set of three porcelain angels that play instruments, passed down from her great-grandmother.

She also adores adding her own personal touches, like cute handmade place cards, centerpieces, and decorations made by her son, making her space feel truly one-of-a-kind!

Bridgette – Lead Designer

Scent: Apple Spice Simmer Pot

Nothing says winter like a simmering pot of apple spice on the stove for Bridgette. She constantly has one going in her home filled with apples, cinnamon, cranberries, and cloves.

Taste: Apple Cider

Her seasonal drink of choice? A steaming mug of apple cider. Whether it’s spiced or served with a hint of caramel, it’s her go-to for staying cozy. Pair this with the crackling fire and she is in heaven!

Style: Cozy Chic

Bridgette’s winter wardrobe combines comfort and style with sweater dresses, fitted denim, and booties—perfect for everything from office days to holiday parties.

Kiera – Lead Design Assistant

Scent: Fresh Frasier Fir Garland

One of Kiera’s favorite smells is fresh Frasier fir, and she brings that scent into her home with real garland and wreaths! This touch completes the minimalist holiday decor she loves for the season.

Taste: Coquito

Kiera’s favorite winter drink is homemade Coquito, Puerto Rico’s version of eggnog. Creamy, spiced, and delicious—it’s a holiday treat she looks forward to every year.

Style: Minimalist Holiday Vibes

For the home, she decorates with fresh cedar accents and, of course, a real Christmas tree. For her personal style, she loves timeless staples like sweaters, long, denim skirts, and Birkenstock clogs.

Emi – Lead Architectural Designer

Scent: A Real Christmas Tree

Nothing beats the smell of the fresh, woodsy scent of a real Christmas tree, and Emi loves filling her home with this natural aroma. One of the best parts? Picking out a tree with her kids! It’s one of her favorite holiday traditions.

Taste: Homemade Gingerbread

Emi loves baking gingerbread cookies for the season. From the spicy-sweet scent filling the air to decorating the cookies, it’s a holiday must-do in her household.

Style: Classic Comfort

The classic sweater paired with denim jeans is Emi’s go-to winter outfit—perfect for busy days in the office to family gatherings.

Rain – Design Assistant

Sent: Holiday Candles from Bath & Body Works

Rain’s winter scents of choice are Fresh Balsam and Flannel candles from Bath & Body Works. Their signature scents make her home feel like a cozy Christmas movie.

Taste: Peppermint Bark and Hot Cocoa

The ultimate winter duo for Rain is Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark paired with a cup of hot chocolate. It’s a must-try it this season! You’ll never want your cocoa any other way.

Style: Chunky Knit Sweaters and Fuzzy Socks

Rain’s winter style is all about staying cozy. Chunky knit sweaters and fuzzy socks are her staples for relaxing at home or heading to the office.

Sarah – Design Assistant

Scent: Our Seasonal HSH Collective Candle

Sarah says it best: “duhhh!” Even as winter arrives, she can’t resist the smell of our HSH Collective Fall candle. She lights it all season long!

Taste: Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread

When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Sarah in the kitchen baking up her favorite chocolate chip pumpkin bread—gooey, sweet, and perfect for a cozy evening treat.

Style: Button-Down Cardigans

She loves a cute button-down cardigan and if Florida wasn’t so warm, Sarah would live in them all year long. They’re her favorite mix of style and comfort!

Happy Winter from all of us at HSH Collective Home and Design!
